FAQs

How old should my student be to start advanced math and science?

1

There is no specific age requirement, but it is best that your student has is proficient at reading, writing, and arithmetic before starting. In general, I would recommend to introduce advanced math and science around age 13, but you know your child best.

Does my student have to be homeschooled?

2

No, your student does not have to be homeschooled to book sessions. I can tutor students who are in traditional schools as well, but it is likely too much work for a student to complete college courses while simultaneously in a traditional school setting.

Do we have to live in Colorado?

I can provide virtual sessions to anyone, whether or not they live in Colorado, but I only provide in-person sessions to the northern Colorado region. If you are from another state, you are welcome to book sessions, but please maintain your states homeschooling policies.

How does booking a session work?

4

You can use the booking page to purchase one session or a package of sessions, and then book time on my calendar as you would like. For in-person sessions, you will select an add-on for the location of the in-person visit. I offer a promotion for visits that are scheduled back-to-back with other families in the area to split the cost of transportation for the in-person business. If you have the promotion code, you would enter it then.
